Tulip Fundraiser with Eighth Day Farms - March 22 & 23
Tulip Fundraiser with Eighth Day Farms - March 22 & 23
To celebrate the official start of spring, we are doing a fundraiser with Eighth Day Farms.
Connecting people to the land and to one another, Eighth Day is a Certified Naturally Grown, urban veggie farm in the heart of Holland. They work closely with local partners addressing food insecurity and access in the Holland area; they donated $15,000 worth of produce in 2023 and are aiming to donate $20,000 worth of produce in 2024.
50% of tulip sales will go directly toward Eighth Day vegetable donations to Community Action House's Food Club and Community Kitchen, as well as St. Vincent de Paul Center's Emergency Food Pantry. Windflower's costs are covered and our tulips are moved, Eighth Day is able to move more of their food to their partners, and you get tulips. It's a win-win-win!
What we have available:
Two sizes of Homegrown tulips in an assortment of colors from Windflower Design Co’s farm and a mixed bloom design in a vase.
12 stems of tulips for $25.
