how it works
In your first complimentary consultation we'll dive into your overall vision for the day, the colors that catch your eye and how to make your celebration a reflection of you two. Of course we'll chat flowers, what your favorite blooms are, what specialty flowers are in season when you are getting married and what kind of design style reflects your personality.
From there we will create an initial proposal tailored to your needs, outlining each element of floral design for your day complete with color swatches and key blooms. After booking, and securing additional vendors like linens and rental items, we'll send a second, more in-depth, proposal with sketches and additional imagery to showcase how all the floral and visual elements work together. This process can include follow up meetings review details.
Additional services like our creative co-director are available if you'd like assistance selecting linens, rental items and other decor for your day. We like to get crafty- dying fabric, painting, building custom pieces and are always happy to dream big with you. Creative co-directing is our way of collaborating by advising on the visual aspects of your day beyond flowers- which can be especially helpful if you not working with a full service planner. We are not planners but we love working with event planners & designer and truly value what all they do. Our specialty is the visual side of things and making custom designs come to life. So if you have a planner, we'd love to brainstorm all kinds of unique ideas with them. If you are looking for a full service planner let us know, we'd love to send you our list of favorites.
DAY OF services
We'll place each floral element on the day of, giving them a finishing touch. Our designers will set up your floral installations on site to ensure the freshest product. We'll collaborate with your photographer and planner to get perfect detail shots that tell the story of your day. When it's last call we'll tackle clean up and hand out the best flowers, in easy to take home packaging for your guests to enjoy.
OUR full service design goals
IN-DEPTH - in person meeting(s), follow up phone calls, an easy to understand, detailed and illustrated proposal plus day of attention to detail. Access to our rental items is also available.
LOCAL & GLOBAL- We love variety and local, whimsical garden flowers. We think you probably do too. Full service design utilizes what's blooming locally in your look and colors along with the best flowers sourced from around the globe. It’s the best of both worlds, literally.
ARTFULLY ARRANGED - Designed to really wow, your flowers will be full of loveliness. With lush greens, select varieties & farm fresh favorites all in beautiful vessels, they'll naturally reflect your style and personality.
REUSE - We think flowers are to be enjoyed beyond the weekend, so send those pretty babes to good homes after the dancing is done! Our team will be there to clean up and send some blooms home. Or we can arrange for them to be dropped off at a near by assisted living/hospice home if you'd like.
Our starting price point for this type of design and service start at $3,000 for more minimal or intimate local celebrations. Our signature style, love for unique product, and day of services put our average full service design proposals around $4,500 to $7,000. If you want large installations we love bringing our design team with us, creating together is what we do best.
